2019 marks the 31st anniversary of the Whitetail Trophy Hunt at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Event dates will be November 16th, 17th and 18th. This tremendously popular hunt brings in participants from all over the United States and abroad. Entries are received on a first come, first served basis and limited to a maximum of 230 hunters.
Missouri holds the world record for non-typical whitetail deer racks and the results from each year's hunt reflects the kind of trophy deer that makes this region of the country famous. Superior deer hunting is not the only thing the Whitetail Trophy Hunt is noted for. Many hunters bring their families along to enjoy the beautiful lake area scenery, unique shops, crafts and outlet malls.
The Whitetail Trophy Hunt builds a comraderie that brings hunters back again and again. Over $4 million in cash and prizes has been awarded over the years to many fortunate whitetail hunters. Plus, the five year Show-me Showdown is in its last year for the 2019 hunt. This promotion will provide an additional cash bonus prize fund that can go up to $55,000. That makes the 2019 hunt REALLY important in working toward the bonus!
